Executive Pastry Chef Shari Carlson and Owner of Dessert Dreams in Irving, Texas, shares some sweet ideas for delectable desserts.

Chocolate Glaze

8 ounces butter

1/2 cup light corn syrup

1 pound semi-sweet chocolate, grated

Bring butter and corn syrup to a boil. Add grated chocolate. Stir until smooth. Strain.

Modeling Chocolate

1 pound semi-sweet chocolate

1/2 cup white corn syrup

Melt chocolate. Add syrup. Mix only to combine. Spread on plastic until cool.
