#231 - Cookin' with Moe & Al

Sloppy Moe's

Makes 6 - 8 sandwiches

1 pound ground beef

1 medium onion, chopped

1 can pork 'n beans

8 ounces catsup or tomato sauce

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

1/2 cup sugar

Cook ground beef thoroughly in a large skillet; then drain. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and cook over low heat for 10-15 minutes. Serve as open-face sandwiches or with hamburger buns.

Big Al's Banana Pudding

Serves 4 - 6

2 cups milk (whole or 2%)

1 large box of vanilla instant pudding

1 can of Eagle Brand Milk

1 large tub of Cool Whip

1 box of vanilla wafers

3 - 4 bananas

Mix milk, Eagle Brand and pudding until thick. Add Cool Whip and mix until smooth. Place a layer of wafers on the bottom of the dish, then add a layer of sliced bananas, followed by a layer of pudding to fill about half of the dish. Then add another layer to fill the dish to the top. Place a final layer of vanilla wafers. Cover dish with foil or plastic wrap and refrigerate for two hours prior to serving.
